Twas the night before Christmas...

...use a little imagination, people:)

When all of the sudden there arose such a clatter,
that I sprung from my bed to see what was the matter...
Santa with his 8...wait, no...um...a couple of happy elves...
well, half of them at least:)

As you can tell by the looks on their faces,
Aidan Dylan were pretty excited.
Keep in mind, Dylan woke up at 1 am to let me know
SANTA CAME TO OUR HOUSE!!!

After reminders at 3am, 4am, & 5am,
these pictures were taken at 6 am
when I finally said they could open the presents:)

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas day filled with
lots of love and laughter...
oh, and chicken nuggets!:)

Merry Christmas!!!!

Happy Holidays!!!!

I've been gone for awhile, but...
Baby, I'm back!

Okay, so I got to be honest, bloggin' takes a LONG time to do. I've been sucked into the whole FACEBOOK mania & my precious computer time has been spent there. Sorry, but it's true. HOWEVER, I do plan on updating everyone on all the happenings & adventures in our lives...especially since my grandma pointed out to me that she KNOWS we've been SOMETHING since October 26:)

Since there are 9 new posts, be sure to hit "Older Posts" at the bottom...
this goes back to October, people.
Enjoy!

Christmas program

The First grade classes always do a christmas program. The event is short & sweet. I was so proud that Dylan actually sang along & did all the hand motions...um, the appropriate hand motions:) Anyway, enjoy the pics...

Sledding!!!

We have a big pit down the street that the kids all love to go sledding in. I decided to be brave & take a bunch of kids down by myself. We had so much fun. Thank goodness Laurel was there with hot chocolate...I'm not sure if you can tell, but it was COLD OUTSIDE!!!

WAHOO!!!!

I don't know why I think this is sooo funny, but I do. Maybe it's 'cause he was so excited go down or that it reminds me of something Homer Simpson would do. Either way, I laugh every time I watch it.

Winter FUN

Gingerbread houses & hot cocoa are just some of the things we love about this time of year...

Also, sooo funny...the boys INSISTED on eating some gingerbread this year. "MOM, it smells so GOOD!" I told them that the gingerbread the house was made out of was really old & probably yucky, but what do dumb ol' moms know...apparently, a lot:)
